The weirdest day.
Finally, finally, finally! After months of hoping and wishing and begging and explicitly instructing any Santa who would listen…Parker got his “real” Texans helmet yesterday. Thank you, Nana and Icky! They complement his Texans jersey…and Texans pants…and Texans football…and shoulder pads…very, very nicely.
Dang it Nana and Icky! I know he loves it cause we already have one wrapped under the tree for him. You beat us to the punch. Well, it’s back to Academy for returns. Is there anything else he is dying for? We are now on a time crunch to get something good 
Love you guys and glad you could get it too him early at least we know that he already has one now.
And Christmas could only go downhill from there!!! I’m glad he is so excited about the helmet though…that’s what it’s all about!
I thought Wednesday night would never get here!
My in-laws have been bummed.
Exhausted, sick, heartsick, worried…but so thankful for the blessings in my life. Bailey said “chocolate” today…(Granbob has been around and we had a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast dessert!) I love you and I am so proud of you and your precious family. Parker needs to come spend the night with Granbob-it has been way too long!
You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.
