Monthly Archives: February 2009 o nice to see the kids GET OUTSIDE and truly savor this lovely weather we’ve been having. There is nothing like the neighborhood children playing together in afternoon sun. It’s heartwarming, really. “Cause…cause…I wanted a mushroom and I didn’t got a mushroom” Seriously, whatever happened to the out-of-breath squeals of “tag, you’re it”? And little…  Kicking back with a can of coke in the bed of a pickup truck after lots of kite flying on a brilliantly beautiful morning…does it get much better? For Parker and PaPaw, the answer is “heck no”.  Giving “the pitter-patter of little feet” a whole new meaning… My sweet Mimi bought Bailey these Uniquely Squeaky shoes the other day when we were browsing in one of those pricey, head-straight-for-the-sale-rack children’s boutiques. Oh, how I wish I had video capabilities in the store when she first tried these on. The first squeak – she…  Ladies and Gentleman, the P-man is back in action, and this time, he’s an orange PIRATE! The soccer season has kicked off once again and Parker is ready and rarin’ to go.
