I've Lost my Ever-Loving Mind

I just SOLD my ticket to tomorrow night’s New Kids on the Block concert.

Utter blaspheme.

I could spend the evening with Danny, Donnie, Jordan, Joey, and Jon…but I choose Matt.

You definitely deserve a quarterly boner for that!

I agree with Karen on the quarterly boner. Perhaps yours should be the size of an annual boner just to compensate for all that you had to sacrifice.

Hello, Autumn.

Ah, it’s that time of year again.

The temperature plummets from 97 to 92 degrees.  The leaves on the trees turn from greenish-brown to just plain brown.  And we make our annual visit to the Pumpkin Patch, to sweat it out among a sea of orange pumpkin piles.  Rebecca-Linh, Jade, and Aja were able to join us and Parker was delighted to see his gals.

The highlight each year is undoubtedly the train.  Where else can you pay $6 to wait in line for 30 minutes for a 4 minute ride?  I’m already counting down the days until next year’s visit.

Nevertheless, we got our pumpkin pictures and it truly did make me realize that the holiday season is right around the corner!

RLR and the girls bought us this pumpkin. Just the right size!

Welcome to Memory Lane.  Please enjoy your trip.

Time sure does fly. Precious little pumpkins (the human kind). Glad you had fun little ones.
Love you, Granbob

Great pics! And, yes, Bailey, I DO love you…you are so darn cute.

Karen ParodiOctober 13, 2008 - 11:00 pm

Is Bailey trying to smuggle some pumpkins out in those cheeks or what?

He Just Can't Help Himself

Game #2 of Parker’s soccer career was a smashing success.  He scored not one, not two, not three, but FOUR goals!  (Now, if you want to get all nit-picky, only 2 of the 4 goals were technically scored in his team’s goal, but let’s not get caught up in details.)  The delightful thing was that each one was followed by a little sequence such as this:

GOOOOOOOAL!

Trying to be cool about it…

But I sure am proud…

And Mom and Dad are cheering like maniacs…

Heck, I gotta jig!!

He is loving it.  And by golly, that makes a mama smile.

Oh, and P.S., golf claps to MATT for these great pictures.

OMG – Adorable. Just flippin’ adorable. I can’t wait until B can start on a soccer team!

WEll, we have to add the “soccer goal” dance to the list of Parker dances. Glad I was there to share in the fun! GB
