The Walters Family

Allow me to go ahead and state the obvious.

GORGEOUS FAMILY.

Well hello there, Braden.:)

Good looking?  Why yes, yes you are.

Can you feel the love??  And Braden’s right there in the middle of it all.  Just as it should be.

Let’s face it.  I love BABIES!  (And I find that I am particularly partial to cute ones.;))  Which is why it came as no surprise that I loved spending time with Jen, Brian, and their adorable little dude, Braden.  We strolled around 19th Street in the Heights and enjoyed the perfect weather on a lazy Sunday.  I hadn’t visited that little part of town in a long time, and I almost felt like we were in an entirely different city!

Pardon the random side note, but I often forget just how many unique and fun parts of town Houston has to offer.  It really encourages me to push beyond our same-old/same-old stomping grounds and go out and re-discover my diverse, quirky city.

I loved our time together, Walters family!   Squeeze that sweet baby for me!

Awesome pics! I love the car too! Super groovy!

A Germany Peek

Of course, I have many, many pictures from our lovely Leipzig trip, but heaven only knows when I’ll actually get around to posting them.  I thought that, in the meantime, I could share a couple of quick videos.  It really was an amazing place.:)

The view from our 6th story window:

Really, how cool is that?

You will note, however, the lack of window screens or any tumble-to-certain-death preventatives. I will admit to NIGHTLY nightmares about Michael Jackson-esque baby dangling incidents. Gah! Makes me nauseous even now. I don’t do well with heights.
We certainly earned our lovely view, however. Did I mention that there was no elevator in our 6-story building?  88 steps up.
Ouch.

Man, I am tired just listening to the heavy breathing! And you’re carrying someone, to boot!

WOW to that view. I love that you chose to shoot when it was dark enough for the lights to be on outside. It looks so festive. I look forward to the photos!

Finally the Beans can SPILL!

MATT IS MOVING TO LOS ANGELES!!

(Matt’s co-workers made him a huge poster of the image above.  He is a big N.C.I.S. fan…HA!)

Can you believe I’ve been sitting on that one for almost a month??  The little Houston-based company that Matt works for, the wonderful family known as Legal Media, Inc., is branching out…in a big way!  They are taking a leap of faith all the way out to California, and have asked MATT to blaze the trail.  He will head out to L.A. in March and stay for a year.  Not only will he be convenient to existing L.A. clients, he will also undoubtedly drum up all kinds of new west coast business for L.M.I.

Proud is an understatement.

Excited is putting it mildly.

And scared out of my ever-loving mind isn’t the half of it!:o

I know that this new adventure will bring many challenges, but I have faith in Team Boles and our ability to seize the unique opportunity that is in front of us and rock it out!!  The kids and I hope to visit as often as possible, and Matt will fly home as frequently as his schedule will allow.  I can’t be sure what this means for jbo photo.  (jbo paparazzi just doesn’t have the same ring) I might have to cut back on sessions, or I might want to keep my self crazy-busy as a distraction.  Only time will tell.

So, anyone out there in the So-Cal area?  I’d love to hear from you!  We’ll take all of the virtual hand-holding that we can get!

My Matthew, you make my little wifely heart burst with pride.  What an amazing asset you are to your company and your family.  Knock ‘em dead!!  (and for heaven’s sake, put that gun away!  you’re creeping me out)

Wow! What an adventure for all of you! We spent some time in Pasadena and loved it. Congratulations!

Wow. Wow. Wow. What an amazing opportunity! What an amazing family challenge! Team Boles will handle this challenge with grace and flair.

Selfishly and shamelessly, though, I must put in a plug for April 10th. Micah + Sam + JBOphoto.

WOW!!! That will be such an awesome experience…for all of you. Even if you are going back and forth you will have a neat opportunity to experience Cali…nothing like it! Go ahead and save me a day in April to take baby pics. Or at least sign me up on the JBo waiting list.
