Finally! Football!

Pbo has been waiting for flag football to start up again for MONTHS!

He had such a blast playing last spring.  I have to admit, he seems to have lost a bit of gusto this season.  He was disappointed that the team name is the Tigers.  I think he is still holding out for the Dark Blue Owls.  (his adamant suggestion from last year).  For a kid who can name every team in the NFL,  he didn’t seem to have his heart in the game last Saturday, but we’ll see.

He DID have a pretty good carry, and almost pulled a flag or two…and, most importantly, the Tigers won!  Good times, sports fans, and I know this is just the beginning.

Bailey is only mildly entertained by the whole display.

But she does enjoy playing “where’s Parker?” and points him out excitedly when she spots him. (the mop of bleach-blonde hair is sorta easy to find)

Oh, those ridiculous mouth guards.  Parker devotes 90% of his attention to slurping the dang thing around in his mouth.  Seriously…they don’t even pass the ball – is it REALLY necessary?

“Good game.  Good game.  Good game.”

And of course, the MOST exciting part of the game….THE SNACKS!

Bailey’s favorite, too.

Oh Paulie, I cannot begin to handle that level of pug cuteness.

The lovely Sarah is best buddies with Lisha, who married the lucky Skeet, who I went to church camp with as a kid.  Got that?

You can see their adorable family here.

There is a third amigo in their group of friends, Jen, who I get to meet next month for her family pictures.  Hooray for friends sharing photographers!

Sarah and Jonathan, it was FUN!  I loved spending a ridiculously humid evening with you and your precious pups.  I will admit to a twinge of jealousy as I got a peek at your incredibly cool Midtown lifestyle.  I struggle occasionally with the whole suburban chic thing.  :)

Here’s hoping our paths cross again…because I think they crossed quite nicely this first time.

Oh, love these pics! The dogs *almost* steal the show but not quite. I really love the one with the sun coming in from the right and they’re just hugging (the next to last one). Even though you can’t see their faces. I just like it.

Hi Janica! I contacted you earlier this year and told you that we had purchased one of your photo session packages at a benefit auction and that we would be interested in doing a session later this year. Well it’s later and I just got on here to contact you and saw that you are booked. (oh no!) I guess we could schedule something for the begining of the year…please let me know your availability. I am interested in getting family pictures taken of my daughter (Audrey), my husband (Bryan) and myself done outdoors in a natural setting. (I was really looking forward to doing some fall pictures around Thanksgiving…bummer!) Anyway, please let me know what is the earliest slots you have open in 2010. Thanks a bunch!
