I dare say that Spring (and loooove) is in the air.

Finally.

Cassie and Rick, much like the newly budding flowers, are a breath of fresh air.

And they’re dang cute, too.

I wish they would just loosen up…

Cassie.  Gorgeous.

Did you happen to notice the laughter in these pictures?  I just adore a couple who can share giggles, snorts, and belly laughs with the greatest of ease.  Cassie and Rick made arrangements with the lovely folks at the Showboat Drive-in Movie Theater to hold our session there.  We had the run of the place!   We dodged some rain showers and may have pretended that it was warmer than it really was…but all in all, it was GOOD TIMES.  Cassie is best buddies with my best buddy, Alicia.  It was so fun to re-connect with an old friend of a friend.

(Well that’s just silly, Janica.  After all these years, I’d say Cassie has officially graduated to a first-generation friend.)

Cassie and Rick, I can’t wait to hear all about your amazing Hawaiian wedding ceremony.  It all sounds completely magical.

Micah and Sam, you crazy kids are just plain awesome together.

Micah is a brilliant artist and such a gentle, caring soul. She has this knack for making people feel at ease…she’s good company. Sam is a bit of a prodigy in the music department. He passionately serves as the Contemporary Music Director at Cypress Creek Christian Church and there are undoubtedly big things to come from this guy.

I have so much respect for people who truly GET each other…no frills necessary.You two are setting yourselves up for such a wonderful future together. I can’t wait to be a part of the beautiful celebration on April 9th!
