I just wasn’t prepared for how much I would love them…I underestimated how much they would love each other.
P.S. Parker, what’s up with the underbite, my friend?

Once upon a time, I was searching the internet to find bows for Bailey. She was only a few months old at the time, and I wanted to find something very small but with good clip-ability. :) I somehow stumbled upon an etsy store for Very Sweet Bows and saw exactly what I was looking for. I ordered several of her little bows and they were perfect! I sent the owner, Fagan, a little note telling her how much I loved Bailey’s new bows and attached a picture of Bailey wearing one. Fagan wrote back and asked for permission to use Bailey’s picture on her web site. Of course, I didn’t mind a bit (who would say no to showing off such cuteness?) and was delighted to see my baby girl’s sweet mug on her site the very next day.
Since then, Fagan has sent me several new bows and products from her store so that I can take some pictures of Bailey wearing them. It is a pretty sweet deal. Free, adorable bows and such for us, and Fagan gets to show off her products on the cutest baby girl in the universe! Check out www.verysweetbows.com to see Bailey in action!
OMG, is she not the cutest little model EVER??? What cute stuff that Etsy mama makes too – wish I had a girl!!
I dreamed of having both a Grandson that I WORSHIP and a Grandaughter that I ADORE, but never, ever realized it could be this good. How BLESSED and LUCKY I am!
Zack and Cody.
A month ago, these names meant very little to me. Oh, how my world has changed. The Disney Channel has cranked out this little gem of a show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and strategically placed it directly after the morning line up of happy, sweet, problem solving cartoons. For the longest time, my baby boy took no interest in this non-animated nonsense…until he started to recognize that damn theme song.
Within a matter of days, the first guitar riff of that song would cause Parker’s neck to snap to immediate attention and I could sense the little tentacles of his once uninterested mind sucking up every lick of slap-stick, potty humored, laugh-tracked misery. He is now simply ENAMORED with Zack and Cody. His eyes are glued to the sceen as he devours every bit of it – the clothes, actions, words, and expressions of those two mop-headed, pre-pubescent, smart ass kids have become the script that he strives to live by. All day, he walks around muttering things like, ”I am not doll, I am a producer!”, and “I pledge my wand to thee, Jango Darkblade!”. Seriously, don’t ask. He begs for a watch like Zack, a striped sweater like Cody, and simply can’t understand why I won’t let him re-enact the episode where they break a lamp by throwing a football in the hotel.
Now, I suppose it is a little bit cute. Endearing, even. I’m just anxious to get past the mega-obsession stage.
But in the meantime…
Practice, practice, practice…
I am going to FORCE myself to watch this. Everytime Parker visits we pretend Zack and Cody, but I always get it WRONG! Now I’m understanding the obsession with wands, watches, suits, etc! Granbob is beginning to feel very old and out of touch… (Oops, there goes the … thing!)
Looks like he’s channeling Michael Phelps. Maybe he misses the Olympics already.
They are both adorable. I’m also surprised by how much Dario loves Matteo. Not that he’s not lovable, of course, but he just adores him and gives him the biggest smiles and laughs. So sweet, to make up for the craziness I guess!
