Yearly Archives: 2009 Last night was the annual Holiday Book Fair at Parker and Bailey’s school. This is a cleverly crafted event where dozens of adorably-dressed children are plunked on the stage to sing for less than 3 minutes. Meanwhile, there are approximately 17 available seats for the 2,000 eager camera-clutching parents. I’ve never seen such polite elbow-throwing…  This is my best friend, Alicia. You might notice that she’s kinda beautiful. I’m sure Nick notices each and every day. Reason #54 why I love Alicia and Nick: They are a no-fuss, easy-breezy, keep-it-cool kind of couple.
