Itchy

If there is such a thing as the 7-year itch, then there’s only one guy that I’d pick to scratch it.

Happy anniversary,  my Matthew.

And if I may, I’d like to resurrect my feelings on the subject from a couple years ago:

Once upon a time, there were two rather normal folks…

Who both knew a guy rockstar named Sam.

Once they were introduced, it took them awhile to warm up to each other.

But soon, they were able to overcome their shyness and discovered that they shared many of the same passions, such as a sophisticated sense of humor…

and a love for at-arms-length portraits.

Young love blossomed.

And then one magical night…

led to another magical night…

that was filled with many magical moments.

They wasted no time in making their twosome a threesome.

And their phobia of odd numbers encouraged them to round out at four.

(Pssst.  Six is an even number, too…  I’m just sayin’.)

Here’s to 7 years.  My baby, my buddy, my sunshine, my prince….seriously, how could I NOT love this man??

P-I-M-P

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane and the glimpse of your, um, normalness!

Here’s to at least another 50 glorious years!!

Bailey’s First Day

Step aside, big brother…you’re not the only one who’s in school now.

Oh Little Bill…you never fail to surprise me.  My dramatic princess has been whimpering and whining at the idea of going to school all week.  She has literally wept when I have told her that I won’t be staying in the class with her while she’s there.  I was preparing for the worst.  And yet this morning, she sassed right through the door like she owned the place.  Wouldn’t even meet my lips for a goodbye kiss.  I had to settle for a bigfat cheek.   Gotta love a girl who keeps you on your toes.  I just hope her teachers feel the same way.;)

I love you, my special girl.

We had the same first day start, Janica – what a big day for our girlies! Also, is that The Kissing Hand that I spy??? If so, we did that too, and I have almost the same picture on the blog of Inara doing it. Love that we’re first day Twinkies! Happy first day, sweet Bailey – I hope this is a fantastic year for you!

Caroline

She’s Caroline…of COURSE she’s sweet!

A girl of many (many!) faces.

Twirl, girl.

Is she not just the most precious thing?  Caroline very carefully picked this spot for our last photos of the afternoon.  And then proceeded to knock my socks off with her adorableness.:)

Miss Caroline, my chatty little friend, you were a delight!  Thank you for the infinite artistic direction you gave me during our session, as well as the lessons on dinosaurs, insects, and life in general.  You will be an AWESOME 4-year-old big sister.  I hope to see you again soon!
