Sam is one of my favorite people in the world.  He is a long-time, dear buddy of mine and is, in fact, responsible for the very existence of my little Boles family.  (see here)

So Sam is a pretty important guy in my life, and he has given me plenty of gut-busting chuckles over the years.  I could not have been more delighted when he introduced us to Shelby.  Not only is Shelby just plain stunning, but she proved she was fully capable of hanging with Sam’s silliness.  Folks, these two are a perfect match.  Wedding bells rang (ohhhh, good times, good times), and a house and a Dooley dog later, the Moore Family was in full effect.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, Sam and Shelby are having a BABY!!

Lindsay and Jerrod, I can’t WAIT for the great news.  Those babies are going to love it on the outside!

Her name is Alicia, but feel free to call her by her street name, Lil’ Aleelee.  I do.

I am SO excited that there is a lil’ Lil’ Aleelee on the way!

Now, Alicia is going to try and tell you that she doesn’t know a lot about babies.  And while it’s true that, at her recent baby shower, she referred to pacifiers as “those things”, held more than one baby outfit upside down, and was completely clueless about the function of any new baby gear whose packaging did not offer explicit illustrated instructions, there is ZERO doubt in my mind that she is going to knock this mothering business out of the park.  You got this, hot stuff.

And seriously, if you look this good, no one will even notice if you use the Diaper Genie as a clothes hamper or the car seat strap covers as baby wrist bands.

Heeheeheee…the following is a perfect example of how not every “pregnant pose” works for every pregnant woman.  Alicia, darling, you’re cute as can be, but you are looking like the biggest pregnancy faker of all time in  this picture.  What baby belly?!?

Can’t wait to meet that precious baby, my precious friend.  I love you!

Claire likes her snacks.  I mean REALLY likes her snacks.  Snack bribery proved to be a very successful method for getting Claire to sit down.

But there was no stopping the constant shovel of goodies into that eager little mouth!

Now, Kelly has told me that Claire is a Daddy’s girl.  I don’t doubt that this is true, but there is also an obvious Claire/Mommy love connection going on.

Just look at Kelly and her Mini-Me!  Precious!

Dan, Kelly, and Claire, what a treat!  Perfect weather and a perfectly agreeable toddler makes for a perfectly lovely photo session.

Jen and Ray decided to not find out the sex, but just look at that belly!

It is OBVIOUSLY a girl.

Sweet Jennifer.  My sister from another mister.  (well, another mama, too…but where’s the rhyming fun in THAT?)

Jennifer is one of four amazingly beautiful, statuesque, silly, kind, and downright DELIGHTFUL sisters.  It has been such a pleasure to know them all!  I have a feeling that this baby is just the first of MANY in the next generation for this family.

Baby Miller, although we are all uncertain if there is blue or pink in the future, one thing is for darn sure – your awesome mom and fun-tastical dad could not love you any more!  Their excitement for your arrival is almost tangible.  We can’t wait to meet you!!

P.S.  And for the record, my official vote is boy. I’m probably certain about that.

I like it.

I can’t believe that in a few short months my baby brother Brandon will be a Daddy.  (and a GOOD one, too!)  Keri’s baby shower was last weekend and she drove allllll the way down from Lubbock.  After the pink wrapping paper was all shredded, the last sip of sherbet punch was slurped, and the final group of chattering ladies made their way out of the door, we were able to grab a few quick shots of her perfectly adorable belly bump.  Next time I see my dear sister-in-law, baby Karli will be hanging out in Keri’s ARMS!  I am giddy with anticipation.  Keri, Brandon, and little Karli, I love you to infinity and back!

Late last June, I had the pleasure to take pictures of the incredibly sweet, incredibly gorgeous (and incredibly pregnant!) Angie.

Mere days later, she gave birth to this handsome little man, Jordan.

A lot can change in a year!

Jordan is now officially on the go.  His grin is infectious and his eyes…oh, those eyes!

And most importantly, Jordan is no longer the baby of the family.  He’s the big brother!
